I’m SHOCKED that you call anything in Halifax a tourist “trap” I am from Newfoundland and went to university in Halifax, Dalhousie, and moved back and forth and about 10 years in total in Hfx area. I’ve never heard anyone say or insinuate anything negative about Halifax. But to each their own.

My bike has a 'full range' throttle. That is, one that will give me zero to max regardless of what level of pedal assist I am in. This is a huge plus in getting thru intersections or across busy streets after a stop sign, quickly. Was very disappointed that this feature would prohibit me from legally using the most common bike trail, those rated class one. My solution is, removing the throttle when I know I will likely want to ride such a trail. On all 3 of our E-bikes the throttle is held on the handlebar with one screw and all have a short cable with a basic plug/socket connection. Should I be questioned about throttle or class, I can reach into my rear rack pack and show anyone my throttle. Really doubt anyone will take exception with riding a class two bike with a throttle temporarily stored in a tool bag on a class one trail. I will not be riding concerned about being ticketed. I will be riding and showing respect for the rules. All it takes is a screw driver and 3 minutes.

uploaded 10 months ago and im assuming you didnt take 2 months to upload so you wernt part of my issues last june where i moved from NB to NL june first it took my movers 2 weeks to show up a week of that was getting through the line at the ferry. me ive never been on it but my dad always valled ferries the poor mans cruise. im planning a world record charity ride on a golfcart so im debating on going from grand falls to port aux basque turning around and going all the way to st johns then home and staying on the island or taking the ferry to NS then taking the ferry back but on the east side to go to st johns then back home

first mistake going to canada second mistake going to NB beautiful country and province both horribly run. for the no fire arms in canada why hasnt someone come out with a chain of gun locker facilities on the US side at each border crossing the snow peg pretty accurate for NB in 2017 i had drifts up to my second story window it wasnt uncommon to get 4-5 feet but in NL thats just a dusting

Hello, I just found your channel. This may be really picky, but I just wanna correct the way that you’re pronouncing Newfoundland. Say understand first and then say Newfoundland it rhymes together. I just say this because as a Torontonian I always miss pronounced the word Newfoundland as Newfoundland LIND at the end. I married a new fee so I must pronounce the name of the province correctly. Looking forward to your adventures in Newfoundland and hopefully you will see some icebergs.

Know what you mean. I do not like all the planning that’s involved in RVing nowadays. I am prone to develop “planning fatigue “ and have to just stop and let it rest for a few days before resuming. You are right that it certainly feels like you have no flexibility to make changes once you make all these reservations.

This Montana has the best office space out of any of the campers out there. I don’t like that it’s right next to the living area. If you’re working, it would be distracting if anyone is watching the TV. Would be better if it there was a bedroom between the office and the living space.

That was an easy crossing, and nothing special targeting you was asked.

Many years ago we were crossing into Canada at a remote spot in Montana. The Canadian customs guy kept us there asking questions and actually joking with us. When we told him we were from 50 miles south of Los Angeles he wanted to know where my gun was. “Oh, c’mon, the whole world knows everyone carries a gun if they’re from Los Angeles “…he told us we were the first people to cross in over a couple hours. Super nice guy all by himself there. I’m pretty sure he was so bored…😅

I use Roadtrippers when planning my trips. I can't stand winter so I tend to plan trips in the winter to pass the time and then refine them when I get closer. Good tips

We have 2019 Tiffin Open Road 36UA.... wanted to get our front chairs, (flexsteel) changed out because Tiffin says they don't make them any more and th emotor of my passenger seat going out as well as the bad upholstry. Is bunk house the best or not? We drove 2 DAYS down to RB only to tell us they had none. Also thinking of changing out dinnet for buffet, tables and chairs. We've been at this for 4 years but sometimes I feel so greeen. Hubby can't/wont do any repairs himself and I don't wish to spend our retirements paying for it. I's Precision repairs in RB good?? should I rely on bunk house for other repairs?? so tired of going through 3, 4 5, repair people🎉.!
